Who We Are

The Education Center (TheEduCtr) is a nonprofit organization composed of a group of veteran educators promoting and advocating for excellence in education via educational workshops to empower educators and parents to become advocates for students who are at risk of not completing their education.

To develop ways to educate and close the achievement gap for minority students.

What We Do

We provide educational training, professional development and mentoring for educators. We also provide one-on-one support for new teachers, support & training for parents to become advocates for their own children, paraprofessional/teacher aid training and professional develop for substitute teachers & retirees. We offer educational programs for the community to stay abreast of current educational issues, and provide speakers for large groups to address educational concerns. We recognize & award educators publicly.

Additionally, we provide scholarships to educators for their outstanding support to students.

Our Mission:

The mission of TheEduCtr is to provide training via educational workshops, mentoring, and professional development for educators. To honor minority educators and to support the education of minority students.

Our Vision:

TheEduCtr provides a unique opportunity for educators to receive professional development, new teacher training, mentoring, license renewal credit and Professional Development 21st Century technology training via workshops to teach in any school district. We develop individualized programs for students who need an opportunity to complete their high school education (GED) and help them prepare for college or career while learning to balance the responsibilities of life. We also provide training workshops for parents to become advocates for their children including children with disabilities.

We provide trained, certified, minority educators to work in any school district.
